WEDDINGS

Twenty years ago when I started my photography business, it was my passion for wedding photography specifically that made me want to become a full time photographer. That passion hasn't waned in the past two decades. If anything, it has only spurred my passion more. My focus has evolved from simply getting beautiful imagery, to wanting that beautiful imagery to resignate deeply with the couples that I work for because it reflects who they are...not simply a beautiful scene.

I work closely with each of my couples to collaborate on photographs that tell the whole story of their day.

GRETCHEN & MATT

The art of the pivot.

Gretchen and Matt planned an entirely outdoor wedding. And then it rained. And not only rained...there was a fast and quick thunderstorm that popped up mid-ceremony and had them, their guests and vendors, fleeing to safety. We recomenced the ceremony inside the Foxglove Farm's barn and moved the dining inside too. Gretchen and Matt were unflappable. It didn't ruin their day. They laughed and danced (and danced and danced!) the whole night. We had 5 minutes to run outside between showers for their pictures. It didn't go as planned. It didn't ruin their day. And the pictures are possibly some of my favorites from last year.

RILEY & AJ

Effortlessly cool, Riley and AJ are the kind of couple who know who they are, know what they want and you hope bring you into their orbit.

Documenting their wedding was so much fun for me because they really brought the whimsy. Her dress. That car. HIS SUIT.

So the aesthetics were high, but more than any of that I loved the very most that it was truly the most honest reflection of them as a couple. And photographing that was what really made the day special.

KATIE & JEFF

Katie and Jeff anchored their wedding day with their close-knit family and friend groups. The day centered around the deep bonds and traditions that they hold dear to them.

Katie loves black+white images and wanted a mix of candid and high-concept imagery, which was fun to blend together. These two are also just the warmest and kindest people to be around and their warm presence made the whole day one I'll hold dear in my heart.
